We run a couple of digital editing suites – perfect for cutting together event coverage, promotional and corporate video.

We can edit footage we have filmed, or digitise footage you supply (see details of the types of format we can work from).

Types of edit

Loosely-speaking, there are two main types of editing job that we undertake: an A/B edit; or a non-linear edit.

An A/B edit combines footage of the same event, filmed simultaneously from two (or more) cameras. The final edited piece is the same duration as the original event. A/B edits are usually suitable for event documentation.
A non-linear edit combines footage from a number of different sources, or changes the order of footage so as to tell a story, create more impact, etc. The final edited piece is typically significantly shorter than the original event/source material.

Short format

Indicative pricing for an A/B edit of a short performances or speech.

Non-linear edit

This form of editing is suitable for a trailer/promo reel, exhibition promotion, ‘making-of’, electronic press kit (EPK), etc. We storyboard, digitise footage and edit based on discussions with you.

Hourly editing rates

Our rates for on-demand editing start at $125 + GST / hr, with price breaks for longer projects.
